Neil D. Kossler, CPA, MST, is the Managing Member of Kossler Jones & Company, LLC and been in Public Accounting for 20 years. He specializes in Tax & Strategy Planning for small to mid sized businesses, Business Management and Structuring, and Real Estate. He oversees a team of experts providing tax, auditing, planning, and consulting services.. In addition, he provides compensation, pension and benefit-planning for corporate executives and entrepreneurs.
Kossler Jones & Company clients are multi-national with niche businesses ranging from high-tech to diversified real estate, complex corporations, businesses and individuals, to trusts and estates. Mr. Kossler has extensive experience in Mergers & Acquisitions. He has performed due diligence and consulted with client’s attorneys to assist with structuring deals. He has assisted several clients with acquiring businesses valued at as much as $15 million.
Mr. Kossler’s strength is in taxation, researching and advising his clients on issues such as the taxability of real estate transactions, gains recognition on a sale of business and the tax effects of foreign ownership of US entities. In addition, he is an experienced programmer and database manager, previously involved in the chart of accounts conversions for the largest owner-manager of residential real estate.
Neil D. Kossler holds a Master of Taxation from George Mason University and has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1993. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Virginia Society of CPA's (VSCPA) and annual speaker for the VSCPA's Professional Development Conference.

Edward B. Jones, CPA, serves as a Member of Kossler Jones & Company, LLC. with experience in public accounting, specializing in tax preparation and planning, compliance and consulting services whose clients range from corporations, businesses and individuals, to trusts and estates.
Mr. Jones is a top advisor in our firm providing his expertise to clients on issues such as the multiple state taxation, job cost accounting and the accounting and tax requirements of small government contractors. He specializes in start-up ventures and small business accounting systems. He has guided hundreds of entrepreneurs through the troubles and tribulations of starting their own business, and properly recording their transactions.
His past start-up clients have ranged from government contractors and professional services to franchises and health care providers. In addition to his strengths in taxation, Mr. Jones is an experienced accountant and controller, previously involved in the operations of one of the largest locally owned HVAC corporations in
Northern Virginia .
Mr. Jones received his degree from The College of William and Mary and he has been a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) since 1998. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Virginia Society of CPA’s (VSCPA), Maryland Association of CPAs (MACPA) and the Vienna-Tyson Rotary Club.
